A 5-minute drive will take you to the small town of Chío, a tranquil village where you can do your shopping, find restaurants, go for a walk or simply get to know the country and its people.
The nearest sandy beach, Playa de la Arena, can be reached in approx.
10 minutes by car.
It is one of the most beautiful beaches in Tenerife with very fine, typically black sand and particularly clear, clean water.
The nearby towns of Los Gigantes and Alcalá offer small, romantic bays.
The landlord's family lives on the finca.
The water is of the highest quality and comes from a neighbouring deep well; the electricity is supplied directly from the sun - in island mode and without a connection to the public energy supplier.
On the few rainy days and especially in winter, there may be a shortage of electricity; in this case there is a diesel generator.
The landlords grow wine, fruit, vegetables and spices in their own garden for their own use.
If you wish, you can buy these products fresh and ecologically sound.
