If you are not fancying a swim in the pool then take a walk up one of the agricultural tracks that skirt the hillsides and enjoy the fresh air and views.
A camera and a pair of binoculars are a must.
It is impossible to resist the urge to examine the wildlife in detail.
Agios Nikitas village is not too far to walk on a cool day.
There are tavernas, mini-markets, a few small shops, and a lovely safe beach for children to swim from.
You may be lucky enough to buy your own fresh fish from the fisherman for your B.B.Q. Cooking in a cloam oven knocks cordon bleu into a cocked hat.
The flavours of jacked potatoes and baked fresh fish are simply delicious, especially if seasoned with herbs straight out of the gardenand savoured with a good local wine.
