Holidays in the Algarve In our holiday home in the middle of the historic town centre of Silves, you can experience everyday Portuguese life in a centuries-old town, which rises with its castle on the banks of the Arade between hills and orange groves.
We modernised the town house from 1857 in 2017/18, creating a symbiosis of traditional materials and modern lifestyle.
The kitchen, living room and bedrooms have state-of-the-art air conditioning, which can also be used for heating on cold days.
The roof terrace, which rises above the rooftops of the city, is particularly beautiful.
The light of the sunrises and sunsets and the typical "Algarve scent" of figs, oranges and strawberry trees - mixed with the salt of the fresh Atlantic air - are unforgettable.
From here, far away from the tourist centres, you can explore the wonderful different landscapes, towns and beaches of the Algarve (the nearest beach can be reached in 10 minutes by car).
The use of organic cleaning agents and detergents means that allergy sufferers also feel comfortable in the house, allergy hoover available.
Pets are not allowed, no smoking in the house, no parties.
