Located on the border of the Dordogne and Lot-et-Garonne, amidst a lush private garden of no less than 16,000m2, Maison Saint-Blaise lies in complete privacy.
Dutch owners Sven and Sandra have renovated this authentic house while preserving its charm and typical Périgourdine style.
The interior is a mix of modern and rustic styles with frequent use of neutral tones and natural materials that create a warm atmosphere while subtle industrial accents provide a contemporary flair. On the ground floor, there are three bedrooms each with a private bathroom, a spacious and well-equipped kitchen and a cosy living room with a dining table and cosy seating area overlooking the front garden full of fruit trees.
Outside the summer period, you can also rent only this part.
On the upper floor - accessible via an external staircase - there is a second kitchen, living room and two bedrooms, ideal for accompanying grandparents or teens who appreciate a little extra privacy. Maison Saint-Blaise is a real family home with plenty of activities and games for the children.
They can scavenge in the private enclosed mini forest, play a game of darts, ping-pong or bocce and have hours of fun in the heated swimming pool while the parents relax on the sun beds or enjoy a good book in the hammocks.
In the evening, you can all enjoy a barbecue together at the outdoor dining table. There is also plenty to do and see nearby, take a look at the nearby bastide villages of Monpazier or Villeréal, explore the castles and farmers' markets nearby or go canoeing on the Dordogne River.
